A mother with her child in a buggy was pushed to the ground and robbed in Penryn in broad daylight last week.

Police are seeking information in relation to the robbery, which happened at about 1.30pm on Friday, May 20.

The 30 year-old was walking with her young child, heading along West Street away from the town centre, and as she approached the junction of Calver Close she was approached by a man who asked her for the time. He then pushed her to the ground and stole her purse containing £200 and a Pandora bracelet.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "The suspect is described as a white man who was about 5’10” tall of slim build and aged in his late twenties to early thirties.

"He had uneven stubble on his face, dark hair with very bushy eyebrows and may have been wearing a dark hooded top."
