Police and Coastguard rescue teams are searching for a 69-year-old woman who is missing from her home in Trewellard, Pendeen.

Officers are extremely concerned for the welfare of June Gorvin who last spoke with family members at 6pm on Monday (May 23).

Police are conducting local searches around the nearby cliffs and coastline with the assistance of the police helicopter, Land’s Ends, St Ives and Penzance Coastguard Rescue Teams and Sennen Cove RNLI Inshore and all weather lifeboats, plus Cornwall Rescue Group.

They are urging the public to look out for her and report any sightings to police immediately.

June is described as white, of slim build and has shoulder length grey hair. She has paralysis on the left side of her face which droops as a result of a recent operation.

It is not known what she was wearing when she went missing.
