Thieves stole £44,000 in a raid on three mobile cash machines at the Masked Ball in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The criminals are understood to have arrived at the Beacon Crag site in a Land Rover, before breaking into a van containing the machines at around 2.10am.
Police said: "Three men were arrested on suspicion of theft but later released with no further action being taken against them."
The festival organisers said the machines were operated by a third party company, and the loss will be covered by the operators' insurance.
Masked Ball founder Kelvin Batt said he did not wish to comment on the theft, and added: "It was such a good event, it went really well for us with the atmosphere and the people that came.
"There were no major incidents apart from that [the robbery].
"I just want to focus on the good stuff."
