The Cornish Steam and Country Fair at Stithians Showground enjoyed another successful three-day event, with thousands flooding through the gates to enjoy a full schedule of activities and over 700 classic steam engines and vehicles on display.

The star of the show was the 1934 Showmans Road Locomotive, Supreme, which wowed enthusiasts and visitors alike during its first ever appearance at the show. Other highlights included the appearance of the famous Victory Society on Tour organ show, and the Camborne and Redruth Motorcycle Club who put on a wonderful team display next to the members' tent.

Simon Tonkin, chairman of show organisers the West of England Steam Engine Society (WESES), said: “I’d like to thank everyone who came along this year despite the weather, and to all the exhibitors and sponsors for their continued support of the Cornish Steam and Country Fair.”
