Mylor Horticultural and Craft Show is back after the inevitable two year break because of Covid.

The show was revived in 2019 after a 100 year break and was very successful, but the success was short lived as Covid put paid to the event in 2020 and 2019.

But this July it is back taking place on July 16 with classes for children, teenagers, and adults. In addition to the display of entries, marquees, bunting, bouncy castle, displays and refreshments, there will be events which will include, craft workshops and demonstration where you can watch or have a go; flower arranging, bee keeping, cookery, embroidery, digital art, card making, pyrography and printmaking.

It is hoped that this show in the Ord Statter Pavilion from 10am to 4.30pm will be even better than the first show. The original aim of building community will be at the heart of the event, with children and adults getting involved in traditional village activities in a spirit of friendly competition or just taking part for the fun of it.

It is a free event, open to all (not just Mylor residents).

All the details, a schedule, and programme can be found on the website https://mylorhcshow.wixsite.com/mhcs

Refreshments on the day will be provided by Firebox, a Pimm’s tent and wonderful homemade cakes and tea.

The closing date for entries is Saturday, July 9, 2022 and must be posted or emailed. Details in the online schedule. However, entries may also be made on the day.

The organisers say they are looking forward to seeing everybody on the day whether you take part or simply come to enjoy all the fun of the show.

Bring the family – entrance is free!
