Simple Minds has announced a line-up full of rock legends for this year's concert.
As part of their global tour, for the first time in four decades, they will be performing live at The Wyldes, an atmospheric grassroots venue in Cornwall, on June 22.
The Wyldes said: "We’re so pleased with how the line-up for Simple Minds has pulled together, from CVC easing us in to the afternoon with sunshine vibes, to loud and poppy Coach Party, and culminating with the absolute rock icons that are Del Amitri and Simple Minds - it’s a line-up made in heaven."
Scottish alt-rock band Del Amitri, known for their various hits from the 80s and 90s, including Roll To Me, Nothing Ever Happens, and Tell Her This, are set to support Simple Minds at The Wyldes.
Fans can look forward to favourites, as well as tracks from their latest album Fatal Mistakes.
Additionally, the line-up includes the up-and-coming female-led indie rock band, Coach Party, which NME praised for their "joyous, pint-spilling brand of indie rock".
Earlier in the day CVC, short for Church Village Collective, will set the tone with their chilled-out summer tunes that are described by The Guardian as "psych-pop made for outdoor stages at sundown".
Bailey Tomkinson & The Locals will be opening the stage.
The band, hailing from St Ives, is known for its unique fusion of folk, pop, and rock to create not just a trend, but an essential element of the global music landscape.
As well as a top-notch musical offering, The Wyldes will provide a broad experience for attendees with an array of food vendors, bars and various camping options, promoting a festival feel.
An afterparty is also scheduled for those looking to extend the celebrations.
There are still some tickets available for Simple Minds live in The Wyldes, but they are reportedly selling fast.
The site managers have indicated that they expect all tickets to be sold prior to the event date.
