Falmouth Athlete Izzy Berks has been selected to represent Great Britain in the Surf life saving World championships in France.
Izzy took part in trials for the GB team on Monday August 18 at Exmouth beach and has since been selected as a team member for GB to compete in the competition over in Montpellier against teams from Europe, Australia, South Africa and more.
Izzy, who is a member of Gyllyngvase SLSC, was invited to trial for the team, specialising in beach sprints and beach flags.
She excelled in those disciplines and was asked to join the team which flies out on the September 14 with 5 other Junior members as part of a 24 man team to compete against the best in the world.
