A DAZZLING round to match his snazzy trousers saw Jim McClung claim the President's Putter at Mullion Golf Club.
He carded a score of 64 in the competition, also known as the Robert Lyle Cup, to claim first place, beating nearest rival John Radcliffe by four while third went to Peter Risley who scored 70.
McClung completed his round wearing a very colourful pair of trousers and commented to his friends in the clubhouse after winning: “If you wear trousers like these and walk the walk, then you have to talk the talk.”
Other contests held at the course included the Arthur Budgen Trophy which was played between teams of three using orange balls.
The winning trio were Tom Suddes, John Turpin and Roy Dixon with their score of 83 points.
