MOMENTUM is starting to build-up in Falmouth Docks A’s season in the West Cornwall Table Tennis League.
Wins over Docks D and Peoples Palace A has seen the team move to within five points of Premier Division leaders Bridge A.
They beat their fellow club-mates 9-1 before toppling Palace 7-3, despite only having two players available.
Mark Meijvis was the star of the show finishing unbeaten while Paul Jenkin won five matches out the six he played.
Elsewhere in the division, Martin Rule continued his 100 per cent perfect record for the season as Docks C beat Docks B 6-4 and Docks F 10-0.
In Division One, Mylor A have a slim three point lead at the top of the table over Peoples Palace B following a 5-5 draw against Docks G before stuffing Docks H 8-2.
Penryn-based Saracens A opened up a large 17 point lead at the summit of Division Two after comfortable wins over Docks M, which finished 9-1, and a 10-0 pasting against Docks Q.
Morgan Cardell and Joe Tuffrey both won all six matches they featured in while Aiden Rollason lost just once.
Mylor C sit in second place after beating Docks P 9-1 and Docks N 7-3.
