ACTION in the Penryn/Falmouth & District League will start up for the new season on Friday.
During the competition's recent AGM, it was announced 13 teams would participate with Boslowick Inn B being the only newcomers.
Another change to the format this season comes in the pairs with the introduction of Scotch Pairs, meaning players take alternative shots when in control of the table and only being allowed to talk before the first shot.
The committee will be chaired by David Barker with Mike Calvert as secretary, Monica Churcher acting as treasurer and Tony Churcher the competition secretary.
