Falmouth Town host mid-table rivals Cullompton in the SWPL Premier tomorrow (3pm).

It is a crucial game for Town if they are to realise their hopes of a top ten finish this season, after they suffered a 2-1 defeat at Saltash on Wednesday.

The hosts led through a Tom Whipp own goal and an effort from Joe Carey early in the second half, before leading scorer Glen Squires scored his 17th of the season with 15 minutes to go.

Cullompton are unbeaten in their last five outings and will prove a stern test, bearing in mind the earlier fixture with Falmouth at Speeds Meadow ended in a goalless draw.

Andrew Westgarth's men will be glad to return to Bickland Park after six consecutive games on the road, during which time they have won two, drawn one and lost three.

Town have not beaten Cullompton in their last five meetings, so they will be desperate to break that poor run.

Ed Timmons is set to make his 99th appearance for Falmouth tomorrow and will soon join the "100 club" players Rob Wearne, Joe Cooper, Tom Whipp, Squires and Westgarth who have made the ton this season.

Helston Athletic, buoyed by their 4-2 win at St Blazey on Wednesday, make the long trip to basement club Elburton Villa.

In Division 1 West, Porthleven have a two-match weekend, hosting Liskeard on Saturday before making the long journey to Bude on Sunday.

Wendron Utd host Bude on Saturday.
